Terms and Policies
This Cancellation Policy explains how AUZ Studio handles cancellation requests for design, development, hosting, maintenance, marketing, and support services.
A cancellation request should be submitted in writing through the client dashboard, support chat, order chat, or official AUZ Studio email. The request should include the order number, service name, reason for cancellation, and any relevant project details. A cancellation is not considered accepted until AUZ Studio reviews the request and confirms the cancellation status.
If a cancellation request is made before work has started, before resources have been reserved, and before third-party costs have been incurred, AUZ Studio may cancel the order and review whether any balance is eligible for refund under the Refund Policy. Payment gateway fees, administrative costs, consultation time, or third-party charges may still be deducted where applicable.
If work has started, AUZ Studio may deduct the value of completed work, planning, research, design concepts, development time, setup work, project management, communication, administrative effort, and any third-party or non-recoverable costs. This applies to services such as logo design, graphic design, website design, development, WordPress setup, e-commerce setup, LMS setup, hosting setup, website migration, SEO, marketing, and technical support.
For logo design, business card design, letterhead design, brochures, flyers, posters, presentations, website design, and social media design, cancellation after concepts, drafts, or design work have been prepared may be subject to deduction for the creative work already completed. Approved concepts, delivered files, or finalised designs cannot normally be cancelled as unused work.
For business websites, WordPress websites, e-commerce websites, LMS development, landing pages, custom websites, or website redesigns, cancellation after setup, coding, page building, plugin configuration, theme work, integrations, testing, or content placement has started may result in deductions for all completed and in-progress technical work. Custom development work may not be reusable and may therefore be charged according to the stage reached.
Hosting, domain setup, SSL setup, business email setup, website migration, and server management may include third-party purchases or irreversible configuration work. Domain names, hosting accounts, email services, licenses, SSL certificates, premium themes, plugins, and third-party tools are generally not cancellable once purchased, activated, registered, migrated, or configured.
Website maintenance, backup management, security monitoring, bug fixing, speed optimisation, hosting support, email support, and monthly care plans may require advance cancellation notice. If cancellation occurs during an active service period, fees for the current billing period, completed tasks, monitoring, support time, or emergency work may still apply.
SEO, GEO, Google Business Profile, content marketing, social media marketing, paid ads, and lead generation work may involve planning, research, content preparation, campaign setup, platform configuration, reporting, and management time. Advertising spend paid to third-party platforms, campaign setup work, and completed marketing tasks are not normally cancellable once started.
Custom offers, urgent delivery orders, priority support, emergency bug fixing, migration work, and time-sensitive services may have stricter cancellation limits because resources are reserved quickly and work may begin immediately after confirmation. Cancellation of urgent or custom work is reviewed according to the completed work and reserved time.
After a cancellation is accepted, AUZ Studio may stop work, remove the order from the active workflow, close the project, archive related communication, and calculate any eligible balance according to the Refund Policy. AUZ Studio may withhold final files, source files, credentials, or handover until outstanding amounts and cancellation terms are settled.
If a client does not provide required information, access, approvals, content, or feedback for an extended period, AUZ Studio may pause the project, revise the timeline, or close the order as inactive. Reopening an inactive project may require a new quote, updated timeline, or reactivation fee depending on the circumstances.
Cancellation and refund are separate decisions. A cancellation stops or closes the service workflow, while a refund review determines whether any amount is eligible to be returned. Any refund, partial refund, credit, or non-refundable balance is handled according to the AUZ Studio Refund Policy.
